I am quite impressed with this machine! I was a little worried in the beginning about its cooling performance, but it does just fine. It cools down a medium sized living room very well (even on 100+ degree days). The other functions seem to work without any problem. The only trouble I had was installing it in my window. I just got new modern windows and it doesn't fit quite right, but with a little improvisation, I was able to make it work. It will work fine if you have older windows. Definitely recommended.

I've had this unit for about a month now, and we've been using it almost everyday since day one. I see some people say they have had to drain it but we haven't had this problem (yet) we only use it on the A/C mode. It's what I wanted and expected, it isn't silent, but we're able to sleep with it on. Sometimes it makes some funky noises, but it's been working as expected. Hopefully, it works for years to come.

I bought the unit 9 months ago to act as a combination heater/AC unit for an office I built for myself at home. In NJ, the temperatures can fluctuate between 10 degrees and 95 degrees. It's a little loud and the water drains for the unit, so it needs to be emptied on a timely basis. But it does a good job of heating when I need it and cooling when I need it.

I got this unit because I have a detached studio that needs both heating and cooling. I found it to work very well in both areas, but was not very happy with the internal capacity of the condensation tray. It is not easy to drain when it fills, and water spills are frequent. I had to build 2x4" risers for the caster to raise it up enough to use a drain pain of reasonable size. Finally I drilled a hole through the wall to carry away condensation, both from heating and from cooling. I still like the product, and would recommend it.

It's what every Arizona home needs!

Having a west-facing, upstairs (and over the garage!) master bedroom, I was never able to cool the room down, without running the ac for the entire house...making the rest of the house too cool, and spending way too much money on electricity in the process!
This unit is wonderful. Now, I can finally be affordably-comfortable.

What is terrible is that it leaks. I've had a problem purchasing a pump to pump water out of window. I've had massive leaks which ruined my ceiling and floor. Stupid me I purchased 4 and one leaked from within (broken). If I has investigated further, there are coolers that have drainage through the venting system. I should have looked around. All I've had is problems. What a shame because it works great. I just cant get passed the water issues
