Moved up from an older Weber Grill that was about 10yrs old. The starter is a great improve over the old unit. We have move grilling space, like that the tank is inside. Overall, it was easy to put to together other than a couple of blowups that should have been clearer. Hoping we get another 10yrs of great grilling.

The grill is great. I loved how I could get the copper color which matched my house perfectly. I had a previous Weber grill for 10+ years and the old reason I got rid of it was because we moved 1800 miles into an apartment where we couldn't have a grill. With just buying a house, a Weber grill was the obvious first purchase.
Deliver was free and quick. It was shipped from NJ on Monday and arrived on Thursday via freight.

Although it takes a while to assembly, it's an easy assembly if you follow the directions, as everything matchs up perfectly. The end result is spectacular. I use my grill several times a week, mainly for steaks, ribs, burgers, sausages, etc., and it does a great job. For smoke flavoring, I use a small cast iron smoke box with soaked wood chips, putting it in the back corner on a flavor bar, and start grilling when it starts smoking. Just can't beat the results.

Enjoy wide temperature range on this - can go as low as 200 deg. F to 600 deg F. Very even heat. Excellent to toast hamburger buns evenly.

My primary complaint is that the assembly directions are pictorial rather than written, often requiring a great deal of thought to figure out what they intend rather then a clear concise written explanation. My other complaint is that some of the hardware fasteners are only plated steel (cheap) rather than all stainless steel. This is ridiculous at the price of Weber.
Service from Rainbow was first class in most ways but an e-mail with the projected shipping/delivery date after the order is processed would save a lot of phone calls by people like me looking for that information. The first e-mail only confirms the order, the next e-mail (in my case a week later) was the confirmation of shipping.

Best grill I ever bought. I wasn't that interested in the Weber design even though I knew it was the standard-bearer(in fact, the model I ordered only came in Black - like a Model-T Ford!). I am very glad I assembled it myself so I could know exactly how it is built and where all the parts are. It wasn't the easiest project as it comes with [@]style pictographic instructions (I guess command of language is now dead.) After the first use - I could tell it was not only worth the price difference but a step above. It cooks wonderfully.
I had reservations about getting this shipped from NJ to TX but everything went smoothly. I had read some bad reviews about Rainbows customer service, but my experience was completely responsive and pleasant. I would definitely order from them again - especially considering the price point was better and overall the experience was just fine.

This is our first grill and although the directions for assembly were scary to look over, it really was pretty easy to put together. Took a while, but worth it. We used it for the first time last weekend and were thrilled with the food cooked. Quick to heat up, solid construction, and looks beautfiful!! I would definitely recommend this grill to anyone!
Rainbow had the grill delivered within 5 business days and the freight company put it in our garage as requested. The freight company can NOT, however, wait for you to inspect the product for damage as Rainbow requests. However, I had no issues with the grill parts and all was well.
Of course in the real world, no one wants to wait for you....

Using the Natural Gas version because we have a gas stub on our house. We're not expert outdoor grillers but we do use the grill a lot for the usual hotdogs, hamburgers, steaks, shishkabobs and grilled vegetables. We also use it to slow cook some beef with an added smoker box full of Hickory chips.As I was putting the grill together I couldn't help but be impressed by the quality of the materials and the design. [...] Also, every part fit perfectly so you don't have to "fudge" things together like you do with poorly designed or manufactured products. Even the hardware like bolts and screws are the good stuff not that cheap stuff that rusts and also breaks when you tighten it hard. Nice little touch by Weber to use stainless steel fasteners where needed. Yes, it takes a couple of hours to assemble but it was a true pleasure due to the high quality of this product.We opted for the EP-310 version rather than the E-310 because we wanted the stainless steel cooking grids. We have some experience with similar grids and found them to be easy to clean. Also, on the EP-310 the Flavorizer bars are also stainless steel and should outlast the standard porcelainized steel. Worth the few extra bucks to get the EP-310 in my opinion.Overall, this grill is impressive in quality and, I believe, it's one of the last Weber grills made in the good old USA. Somehow, I think the hotdogs taste just a little bit better because of that !
The whole purchasing experience with Rainbow Appliance was first-rate. The product was priced at about the best level on the net and it was shipped fast as promised. Also, the shipping company R & L Freight delivered the grill exactly as promised. The driver was also courteous and even placed the rather heavy grill package on our back patio for us.

My last grill (a cheapie) lasted only 2 seasons and I finally pitched it in frustration due to poor heating and a bad rib incident that we don't speak about. When shopping for a new one, I looked at many mid-priced grills, but there was always that Weber Genesis next to them that seemed so much better constructed. I read all the reviews and made comparisons to other brands, and decided to order one. Weber grills are like Apple computers, the same price in all retail stores. Rainbow was able to offer a lower price and actually had an extra 5% off promotion on Weber products. I opted out of the side-burner, which I never really used much before, but I did get the stainless grates for a small up-charge. I should say that I have not cooked on mine yet (deck construction), but a friend has the same model so I can attest to the quality and performance. I like the simplicity and styling, and look forward to years of good grilling. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal on a Weber Genesis.
I live in the midwest, and their shipping is VERY reasonable for such a large box, heavy item (I think around 165 lbs boxed), so don't think that you need to live near their east-cost facility to afford it. The trucking company called a day ahead to schedule delivery, and was right on time. The delivery man was very courteous and was also impressed with the grill when I opened the box for inspection.

This is a great grill and was well worth the premium paid for a name-brand grill. Assembly took awhile, but all parts fit together well and it was nice to see that Weber uses quality materials in their products. I don't miss the side burner option at all, as I rarely ever used it on previous grills and would rather have the shelf space. The drip tray is easy to maintain and I really like the tank level indicator. Spend the extra $$$ and go with this quality grill.

Texas summers are really hot so I do a lot of outside cooking just to keep from heating up the house. So this grill has been getting a real workout.It heats up really fast,cooks even.I really like the design of the indirect cooking because you can use it as an oven.
As far as things I dont like about it:
I wish it had a window in the lid so you could see the meat as it cooks because opening the lid isn't recommended.
I didn't want to spend that much for a grill but after getting it and cooking on it I'm glad I did. It's First Class Cooking!!
You know they say: It Don't Cost That Much More To Go First Class: You Just Can't Stay As Long!!
I know this grill will still be cooking when all the others are burned up and hauled away!
If you do decide to purchase the Weber you should get the cover for it.
I also recommend buying Weber's Big Book of Grilling because it has lots of recipes and tips on grilling. The time and heat settings go hand and hand with the type of grill that you're using.
In Texas we're serious about our outdoor cooking! You can't beat a Weber.

The grill is great and the price is reasonable for what you are getting.It is very difficult to put together. A job that should have taken 1 hour took my father and myself 3 hours. Painted over screw threads and a strange bolt locking system.If you can get the grill put together for you. [...]. Once it is together though - you will enjoy and love using this grill for a long long time.

I conducted a long and tired research campaign regarding which grill to purchase. The Webers are costly, but how many off brand grills will you buy in the 10+ years that Weber warranties their product? Do right by yourself and spend a few extra bucks and buy this grill. You don't need side burners, keep it simple and enjoy!

Our last grill was also a Weber genesis and it lasted 12 years. We did replace flavor bars and grates just once. Now that we have stainless steel flavor bars and grates with this new model, we'll see how they hold up. It's just a very nice grill to look at and the color choices are great.

I grill about 3 to 4 times a week. The slide out tray and drip pan is quite an upgrade from my [$] Sears grill. The grill has heavy guage steel/aluminum build, and no sharp edges like other imitations. Plus, any model below this one is made in the communist China. This one is made in the USA. Got the copper color which matches my 2-tone Trex deck beautifully. I do not recommend the grill cover (sold separately)--expensive, but cheap quality. I got a Charmglow 58 inch cover at HD for half price with much higher quality material. Enjoy! The starter works great so far with a AAA battery, however, its build is not on par with the rest of the grill and may not last long.
Everything as expected. Will order again.

Everything was great about this BBQ except that when assembling, it had one too many clips and one too few lock nuts. I think this is a manufacturing line problem because my neighbor bought a similar grill from a different retailer and had the same problem. In the middle of assembly I had to go to the hardware store to buy a $0.40 locking nut. Other than that, perfect.
Prompt delivery, pleased with the seller, seller communication and delivery.

I cook for a family of 4 on this grill maybe 3 times a week. This grill has plenty of room to cook, so for small gatherings, it works great as well. The best things about the grill are that it cooks very evenly and that it is exceptionally well built. I know that this thing is going to last for the long haul... 10 years plus. The only reasons why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for a grill of this price I expected to do less assembly work. Assembly wasn't difficult, but it did take a couple of hours and for the money, they could have done more.

I grill a lot, so when it was time for a new grill the Weber Genesis EP 310 fit the bill perfectly. Easy to put together, nice even heat. Just a very well constructed grill that I'm sure will last many years.
Delivery was quick !!! Rainbow Appliance was nice enough to take an additional 5% off the price even though I found a code for that AFTER the grill was ordered. They didn't have to do that but they did. A very nice touch I thought !

Incredibly solid construction.
Chose the EP-310 over the E-310 due to the addition of stainless grates and flavorizer bars. Worth the upgrade price. The stainless grates clean up well, and are quite heavy(retains heat well).
Perfect size for my family of 4, as well as occasional gathering of 8-10.
Coming from a two-burner Weber gas grill, this 3-burner will consume a lot of propane, so an extra tank was essential.
Couldn't be happier.
Item was delivered w/i one week, from New Jersey all the way to Missouri.
The box was in decent shape, and the grill parts themselves were spotless; not a scratch or dent.

This grill heats up fast, and gets very hot. Great for searing. With the three heating elements, its great for indirect or direct grilling. Love it.
Expensive but this is the least expensive place I found to buy it. And its well worth from reading the reviews of others who seem to start their review with "I've had my Weber for 10+ years...."
