It's not really the fault of the stovetop that there is not much surface area because it's for smaller than average space. I can comfortably heat at least 2 pans on it, probably 3. Four might be pushing it. Temperature controls seem to be pretty accurate. Color is a nice bright white.
Very fast shipping on an item that was difficult to find, and came at a great price...about half of what it cost at Lowe's.

The cooktop works very well. My wife uses it so she is the authority on it. She loves the even heat distribution. For me, it was easy to install, fit right into the existing cutout on countertop. It is a major improvement over the nasty 30 year old unit it replaced with its baked-on uncleanable crud. The only negatives on this is there were no spacers, shims (or whatever it would take) included with it that would make it fit tightly in the countertop opening. Also, the "Element On" red light needs to be much larger. As small and hard to see as it is, it could really present a hazzard if the heating elements are accidently left on after cooking is finished. This has already happened once to us, and should be brought to the attention of Frigidaire. Could easily cause a house fire

We had the old one which lasted for a good 20 years or so. Bought the new one, same nice construction , really love it.
