No regrets. I installed this cooktop myself, it replaced a 53 year old Hotpoint. Countertop debris under the edge will be a problem until you use silicon caulk around the perimeter. The white, smooth look is fabulous.
Fast shipping, really well packed. Very impressed.

I love my cooktop! Room for all my pans is great. It took some mental adjustment to get used to a flat surface rather than coil burners, and I've accidentally melted a plastic lid putting it down when the surface was still warm. It doesn't respond quite as well as my old Jenn-Air, but only slightly. It works very well, though, for what it is. When you install it with the padded tape, it gives it the cushion needed, but it also elevates it just enough to trap food under the edges.

Great cooktop heats easy and fast, just hard to keep clean and looking nice!!
