Ordered Broan E66136SS from Rainbow applicance, owing to the best price. However, after I put in the order, I noticed that the description said 'blower sold separately'. [...] and I was happy to see that the blower fan was in there. Over the weekend, I removed the old unit, and installed this new one. connected the cables, and turned - nothing happens. No lights, no blower running. Verified all the connections again, but no use. Called Broan tech support on Monday. The guy asked to verify the connections again, and told me that unit must be defective, and gave me contact info for a couple of local authorized repair shops. These guys would be able to repair, and bill Broan directly. Called both of them, left voice mails. One of them called back and setup an appt for a few days later. This was a company called CW services. The technician came in on the scheduled day, checked all the wirings for a good 30-45mins, couldn't get it to work. He said the board wasn't passing any current, and would have to order the parts from Broan.It took them a week for him to come back again with the parts. He opened the packages for parts from Broan, and noticed those parts were not the ones he ordered. They were for a different model. He called Broan again, and talked to the guy who he had the parts ordered from. The Broan guy confessed saying 'I messed up, sent the wrong parts'. There goes in another order for the parts.One more week of waiting, no word from CW about the parts, so I call them up. They tell me the parts are expected to come in late that week, before the holiday of July 4th, and scheduled me for the next week. This time the right parts seem to have come in, the technician puts them in, and finally the things powers up.I tested the unit by frying some fish, with the blower on full blast mode, and it very little smell. Pretty decent. But, lower settings probably would have.The noise level in full-blast mode was high-enough that anyone standing near the exhaust wouldn't hear any conversations from about 6ft away.The rings that cover the light bulbs don't have a good fit, leaving gaps in between.Overall, it's a decent unit, middle-range. Good enough for the price. However, their service left much to be desired. Had Broan overnighted the parts, atleast after they shipped the wrong ones the first time, I would have had more appreciation for them.Wish Broan does better QC, and customer care.

High performing, reasonably quiet at lower setting, noisy at high setting but not too intrusive, easy to clean, highly recommended!
