When stopping to use restroom, then returning to view Netflix. it resumes only a few minutes , then stops but will not resume. It will the next day, but perhaps the problem is NETFLIX!?

The wireless settings seem to get lost. I have had to
reprogram the player several times to connect to my network. Once programed it works for the night. When I come back in a couple of days, configuration settings don't work again and I have to start over!

This is our first blu ray so I don't have real comparison. It seems to load fast and I don't notice a difference from regular DVD player. Regular DVDs play much better. The top control buttons work nicely.
It also works nicely with Samsung TV as it switches source.

The main reason I was looking at this unit was for Pandora and Netflix. I absolutely love the Pandora feature with my surround sound system.
My only problem after I hooked everything up which was very easy is after a day the unit failed to respond to the remote control. Had to send it in and have it repaired. Everything is fine now.

This unit was purchased for the Netflix built-in access feature. However, the unit has a differcult time connecting to the Netflix Stearming Videos. Frequently the machine will stop playing in the middle of the Netflix movie and it must be started back at the the beginning.

i upgraded from a quality DVD player to this Blu-Ray unit.
It features Profile 2.0/BD Live/Bonus View compatibility, Netflix movie and Pandora music internet streaming, plus 1GB of onboard memory. It supports the highest resolution audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. I have a 7.1 system and the sound is as remarkable as the video. The disc loading times are much shorter than everything else, except maybe the Xbox.

I just built my home theater system. After researching Blu-Ray players, I had decided on Samsung's 2550 because of quality of graphics generation for the cost. However, this model has the same engine and more features with easier to use on-screen menus. Built in Wi-Fi to stream from your home network or Netflix or Pandora is incredible. I honestly cannot say enough good about this. I use to read these and think they were [*]written by someone who works for the retailer, and maybe you will think the same about my over complimentary review. However, this product is fantastic.
