We went through 2 low-end insinkerator dispensers. We switched to whirlpool because the price was comparable and it looked more substantial. My husband installed it with moderate ease. So far, so good. This dispenser does not make any sounds as the water heats. I do notice a reduction of flow now that it is summer and we hardly use it.
